Thrift Savvy
I was totally one of those girls that didn't go thrift shopping because I didn't want to have used clothes; I thought that everything that I would find would be something like my grandpa's sweater or a ratty mess. Well, I was wrong. I have found so many awesome finds at thrift stores! I know, I know, I have an advantage because because I work at one but shop around and you will find some adorable deals! I thrifted these pieces over a long period of time so don't feel bad if you don't find anything on your first trip! Just keep going back because they get new things in everyday and you want to snatch up the good deals before anyone else does!
Here are just some of my fav thrifts, Enjoy!
I got this cropped crewneck sweatshirt at a thrift store! I think I paid like $7 for it. It is so comfy and I love to layer it or wear it on its own! This sweatshirt is made by billabong.
I got this Fringe sweater tank for $7!!! It was brand new and still had the tags on it! Fringe is totally in this season! For fall, I just threw a hooded flannel on over top and this is soo cute! The brand on this sweater tank is BB Dakota.
This peplum dress is perfect for any season and I love it! I paid less than $2 for this gem! I put a jean jacket and a necklace with it for summer but you can also wear it with a sweater, tights and boots for the winter! This dress is made by Forever 21.
Remember my post about flare jeans? Well you guessed it, I got those true religion jeans at a thrift store for...$10!
I picked up these 2 items and I LOVE them!! This oversized cardigan is great for lounging or for going out! The sweater is made by lululemon and the tshirt is made by vince. I paid $7 for each of these beauties!

OOTD
I decided to take my own advice and wear a flowy peplum! This is so comfy and super stylish! Its just a grey t-shirt but with the extra layer it gives it a little more appeal! You can wear this any season! You can dress it up with a bold statement necklace and leather jacket or just throw it on with a cardigan and jeans!

Lazy Fashion
We all have those things sitting in our closet that are so adorable but never reach for because its so uncomfortable! Comfy is the new stylish! I was always worried about looking too sloppy with my comfortable clothing but with the right accessories you make a comfy outfit cute! Listen to these steps and you will be lounging into fashion in no time!
1. First things first is declutter! Go to your wardrobe and take out everything that you don't wear because it is uncomfortable. You don't need to get rid of it but just tuck it away somewhere else. This is just to focus on the comfy things that you will actually wear all the time!
2. When you go shopping you look for things that are cute right? If it looks uncomfortable leave it on the rack! Don't search and search for things to love, if you don't see anything that pops out at you then just wait another day!
3. Stick to timeless pieces! Don't bother with things that you aren't going to wear next season! Things that you can wear forever are always comfortable and go with so many things in your wardrobe!
4. Shop neutrals! If you have a neutral color palette then outfit styling will be a breeze! Mixing your grays, cremes, whites, beiges and blacks is super stylish and comfy too!
5. If its easy to put it on then its easy to take off and it will be your go to piece for every outfit! Keep that in mind when you are shopping! Nobody wants to fuss with buttons, hooks, zippers and snaps!
6. Don't buy anything that can't go in the washing machine! Don't mess with hand wash because it is going to end up sitting in your laundry for weeks and you won't wear it anyways! The items in your closet that are low maintenance are the things that you will wear the most!
7. Layer lacy bralettes underneath your shirts for a pretty detail that is comfy too!
Bralettes: Aerie |
8. Pretty in pattern! Bold prints are perfect for the lazy fashionista because it makes you look like you tried harder than you did! A cute printed top with your favorite pair of jeans and a crossbody bag to polish it off is a perfect weekender look that was effortless!

Fall Trends
Fall is coming and updating your wardrobe for a season can be hard! Here are 10 of the must-have trends for fall of 2016!
1. Mixing Patterns - Plaids on polka dots on stripes on florals! Its easy when you know what you are doing but tricky as a beginner! Take your go-to plaid scarf and pair it with your favorite striped shirt! Heres the catch, one pattern should be the statement and one should be more subtle.
Striped Tee: American Eagle | Scarf: | Jeans: American Eagle | Booties: Target
2. Lots of Layers - When you think you couldn't do anything else, add another layer! Wear a flannel over your comfy zip-up hoodie to add a cute hood to your plaid! But don't stop there! Put a graphic tee underneath and a jacket on top! You can interchange each one of those pieces for a new layered look! Throw on a Crewneck hoodie over your collared shirt like this!
White Collared Shirt: Abercrombie and Fitch | Crewneck: Wilt | Jeans: American Eagle | Wedges: TOMS | Necklace: Jcrew
3. Flowy Peplum - These are so popular and you can wear them in so many different ways! Fell in love with this free people top! Girly but edgy!
